The National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy (NCCHPP) organized a Pan-Canadian meeting on Health in All Policies (HiAP) in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada and the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec (MSSS – Québec’s ministry of health and social services). This meeting was held on October 9, 2019, in Québec City and brought together 25 participants affiliated with federal and provincial governments, regional health authorities, Indigenous organizations, and universities from across Canada.

The objectives of this meeting were the following:

1. Support networking among Canadian stakeholders interested in HiAP.

2. Share experiences related to:

  • What HiAP means for the participants;
    .
  • The status of HiAP in Canada including in Indigenous contexts;
    .
  • Examples of Canadian HiAP initiatives.

3. Explore pathways for supporting HiAP practice in Canada.

The Centre has prepared a report presenting the results of the discussions
that took place during the meeting, as well as a summary version.
