The meeting was held on January 27-28, 2010, in Vina del Mar, Chile.

The working group was formed after the release of
the report of the World Health Organization's Commission on Social Determinants of Health. The meeting's goal was to explore the ins and outs of practices for evaluating inegrated governance initiatives that act on health inequalities.

The NCCHPP was invited to share its conceptual analysis of the strategies deployed by ActNow BC and section 54 of Québec's Public Health Act, and to reflect on evaluation practices for intersectoral strategies.
