In the Spotlight this Month – Online Continuing Education Course – HIA Step by Step

A 12-hour continuing education course on health impact assessment (HIA) of public policies will be offered by the NCCHPP starting in October 2013. Online registration is now open.

This online course will focus on the five steps of HIA and will take place over 3 weeks. It will allow you to become familiar with the HIA process applied to public policies, recognize its fundamentals, and think about the favourable conditions for successful HIA implementation.

Next courses:
October 15 to November 1 2013 in French and
October 21 to November 8 2013 in English.

The 12-hour course includes two webinars (Oct. 23 and Nov. 8), self-paced online modules, discussion forums, and other interactive activities.
