Margaret Barry, a renowned expert from the National University of Ireland Galway offered a seminar on promoting population mental health for children and youth on September 13, 2017, in Montréal.

The INSPQ (Institut national de santé publique du Québec) and the NCCHPP joined the Institut de recherche en santé publique de l'Université de Montréal (IRSPUM) in welcoming Margaret Barry, renowned expert in mental health promotion, head of the Chair in Health Promotion and Public Health at the National University of Ireland Galway and head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Promotion Research. She discussed the necessary approaches for effectively acting on social determinants of mental health and promoting mental health and wellbeing for children and their families.
